Subject: Your Songwriting Placement

Maureen Haworth - "How Do I Tell You"

Dear Maureen;

I wanted to follow up with you regarding the material you submitted into the previous song competition. Even though your material did not place as a Winner or Finalist, "How Do I Tell You" did extremely well in the contest as it received the "Runner Up" placement in the contest. The Runner Up placement shows that the song received extremely high scores and was found to be competitive with the winning songs. Only the top writers receive this placement.

We have created a "Personalized Page" for you that honors your songwriting placement at http://www.songoftheyear.com/results/maureenhaworth.html
You can refer to the page from your website, press kit, biography, promotional material, etc..... Your "Personalized Page" will remain online for years to come so that you can utilize it as a reference to your songwriting accomplishment.

Song of the Year is currently accepting entries into the final songwriting contest of 2010. We are excited to add many new judges including representatives from Universal Records, Warner Music, and EMI Publishing. Additionally, we have increased the prize packages and now have the "Get A Video Of Your Song" opportunity in the current contest.

Placing in the previous contest does not limit your chances of winning the current contest with either the same material or new material. We had seven songwriters who did not place with previous entries but this time received Winner or Finalist placements with the same songs. This is possible because we maintain a different set of judges in every competition. In the current contest we have some returning featured judges however over 70% of the judges are new.

Congratulations on your great songwriting and thank you for taking part in the Song of the Year contest.
